A bag of 10 bulbs will give you a beautiful spring bouquet.
An incredible blousy soft pink bloom that will have you doing a double take.
These bulbs can be planted close together like eggs in a carton. 10 bulbs can fit in 1 square foot of space.
Dig 6-8" down and place the bulbs pointy side up. Water them in well before you cover them back up. Backfill with soil and water them one more time. You don't need to fertilize because they have everything they need in the bulb.
Protect tulips from deer inside fencing or other protection and then wait for them to push up in April. Cut flower grower dig/pull out the whole bulb for maximum stem length as these tulips do not come back each year. Just rinse off the stems, cut off the bulbs and put them in fresh water.
Bring them in just as the bud begins to color and you will be amazed to find these tulips last upwards of 2 weeks. Enjoy these alone or add plant a complementary color for a luscious bouquet.
You will be so thankful to yourself that you planted these come spring!
